I love it when Matt reads to me. He started reading "Little Britches" to me the other day and he's just finished it. Now, I love curling up with a good book just as much as the next girl, but there is something about hearing it rather than reading it. I've always liked listening to books on the computer while I clean or my ipod when I run. It all started when Harry Potter 5 came out and we couldn't decide who was going to read it first. That is what we did with 5, 6 and 7. And occasionally he would read something that we had both been meaning to read. Last month when our TV was broken he read to me every night for entertainment. Our TV is back now, and he's still reading.
I was pretty productive today. I made two slings. One for a friend who just had a baby and another one for me. I've decided I want to keep one home and one in the diaper bag.
I did all of my jobs including practicing piano for 1/2 hour. We can't afford for me to take lessons, so I figure if I can just practice every day then I won't need them. Not for a while anyway. I'm already much better at the scales than I was on Monday. I took some lessons a few years ago and caught on pretty quickly, so it shouldn't take as long to learn it as the first time.

Did you love Little Britches? Love that book! Of course, it's not Laddie, but then... nothing is :)
Oh, I LOVE Little Britches! Read it to my kiddos a few years back . . . think it's time to bring it back out, for the younger set. Thanks for reminding me!
