Ah, what a good day

I had SUCH a good day yesterday. I woke up at the break of dawn to catch a bus to the Temple. Matt suggested that he be a stay at home dad so I could go on the Stake Temple trip.

It was so nice. But I have to admit that it just wasn't the same being there without Matt. It's strange to feel such peace and fulfillment and feel kind of lonely at the same time.

I also ran into Kathy Bumgarten while I was there. It was nice to catch up.

On the way home, I was talking to Matt on the phone and he acknowledged that being a stay at home parent is not very hard, but being one AND being a homemaker at the same time is almost impossible. It's nice to get a little validation :)

Matt gave a GREAT talk in sacrament meeting today. Two of his speakers canceled on him, so he had to take up time for two people.

I'm so glad you were able to go to the temple! I'm looking forward to going in a few months.

Yes, being a parent AND homemaker is stressful, and I would say impossible to be perfect at both!

Sadly, I didn't hear most of Matt's talk, but what I did hear was good. :-)
