Yesterday, Matt went to Portland to pick up his brother from the airport. He took Lucy with him and they were gone from 7:30 until almost 6. If yesterday was any indicator of what life will be like once Lucy starts school, then our life will change a lot in September. Emma was a completely different child. No whining, no screaming, no grunting, no crying, she spoke clearly and at a good volume.
I love my Lucy, but I am really going to enjoy spending so much time with my Emma.

Isn't it funny how different kids act when they aren't fighting for our attention with their siblings? Ben is the same way when Audrey isn't around. I don't claim to understand it, but I too have seen it happen. Crazy stuff.
