This morning, while I was brushing my teeth, I sat on the bed to warm up next to my sleepy husband who was just waking up. He looks at me with a sweet face and a smile. I smile back. Then his countenance changes to one of great concern and worry. He has this "Courtney, we REALLY need to talk" aura about him. I hold my breath, waiting for the blow...
Then he says, "Courtney, I hate to say it, but even though we are really comfortable with the our current system..." pause for dramatic effect, "I really think that the Metric System is better." He then goes on to explain WHY the Metric System is better (the speed of light is 300,000 kilometers per second as opposed to the 186,282.397 miles per second) and WHY he doesn't want to change from American Standard (I already know how tall I am in feet, I already know how long a mile is).
And you know what... I think he's right. The Metric System IS better!

Our husbands are very odd.....they need to have the random discussions that come out of no where. I'm glad mine isn't the only weird one.
He is so funny...
That's why I like him so much. He's so smart.
I didn't know that Dad read our blogs....he doesn't read mine. But then again, mine isn't very interesting.
The only thing I can say about that, is that is soooo Matt. I don't know how else to explain it. Who else wakes up thinking those things? I wake up mad that morning came already, and he is trying to solve the world's problems.
